Want to work for EGN?
(117 Reads ) Eternal Gaming is a rapidly growing online gaming content provider. To keep up with demand we need to expand our ranks. We at Eternal Gaming are a fun bunch but we would like a web site that is full of useful content for our visitors. To do this we are at a point that we need to add staff members to write articles, update cheats, add games, upload screenshots and anything else you can think about to our site. To do this we need willing volunteer game journalists to post news and other content on a daily basis. We would like people who are self motivated and can work without a lot of direction. Content Adders - Content adders will add the latest screen shots, video games, cheats, and other general information to the Game Database. If necessary you can only cover a certain console or genre. Walk-through Writers - Walk-through writers will write detailed and thorough walk-throughs for a wide variety of games. Walk-through writers will also be in charge of writing FAQs and guides. News Posters - You post up to date news for the site. It's an easy job, but you need be reliable. If need we can even supply several sources for the latest press releases but you must find rumors on your own. Researchers & Reviewers - Work on reviewing the latest games, and researching the latest happenings of the Gaming scene. Researchers will also be asked to find the answers to hard gaming related questions, because of this they will most likely be answering mailbox questions and questions the staff have on a certain video game or gaming related subject. Feature Writers - Typically a feature writer should be submitting one document of at least 500 words in length every week. Feature writers will be covering editorials and interviews with highly credited individuals in the gaming industry. Feature writers need a good sense of humor, a strong grasp of the English language and topic being discussed, and the ability to research in detail if necessary. ::Requirements:: - 18 years of age - Speak and write fluent English - Love gaming and the gaming industry - Self motivated ::Info Needed:: - Your Name (first and last name) - Your Contact Information (email, instant messaging contacts, and any contact information) - What's Your Experience, if any? - What job do you want and why do you want the job? - Other Comments/Questions? - Your goals for individual and collective site achievement over the course of your stay - Do you have a profile of previous work? ::Benefits:: - Acknowledgment of your work and EGN Staff status. - Power to inform thousands of fans on any gaming aspect. - Free hosting for personal Projects. - "EGN" status on Eternal Boards, which gives basic moderation power as well. - The chance to visit special press-only events with other staff members. - The ability to access exclusive media content on the Internet. - Free games and merchandise for review/preview (only when developers send review material). - The freedom to recommend and head new features About Eternal Gaming: Eternal Gaming was founded by three independent journalists in the late summer of 2002 as an alternative to the gaming publication juggernauts of IGN, and GameSpot as a leading source for gaming related content.
