2K Sports Presents NBA® 2K8 All-Star Challenge Tournament on Xbox 360 with Chris Paul, Rudy Gay, and Mike Conley at the NBA Jam Session on Sunday, February 17th

Over the past two months, the best 2K Sports gamers in the United States and Asia (Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and Singapore) have been competing in intense online matches on Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft through Xbox LIVE® and onsite tournaments of 2K Sports’ NBA 2K8 for a chance to showcase their skills in an exclusive East vs. West World Championship of the NBA 2K8 All-Star Challenge Tournament in New Orleans, Louisiana during NBA All-Star Weekend. 

Hosted at the NBA Jam Session, the NBA 2K8 All-Star Challenge Tournament will be supported by Chris Paul, NBA 2K8 cover athlete for 2K Sports and first-time All-Star for the New Orleans Hornets, along with Rudy Gay, rising star for the Memphis Grizzlies and participant in this year’s Sprite Slam Dunk contest, and Mike Conley, starting point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies and member of the Rookie team participating in the Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam. 

This exciting event will pair the top two finalists from the United States in a semi-final match, and the winner will move on to face the finalist from Asia, as they battle in a thrilling East vs. West World Championship on Xbox 360.  For ultimate bragging rights, the champion will be crowned the undisputed top NBA 2K8 player in the world, and have a chance to win other prizes including a $1,000 GameStop gift card, assorted NBA All-Star apparel, and other autographed memorabilia.  After the championship final, the three finalists from the United States and Asia will then play against the real NBA superstars themselves, Chris Paul, Rudy Gay, and Mike Conley in a special 2K Sports NBA 2K8 3-on-3 exhibition match.
